What does the red dot on the bell icon mean?

Steps

1. Look at the bell icon in the top-right header; if it has a red dot, there are unread notifications.
   You see the red dot on the bell icon when unread items exist.

2. Click the bell to open the Notifications page and review items under 'Unread'.
   Unread notifications are listed or the 'Unread' tab will show them.

3. If the red dot remains after viewing, refresh the page and re-check the 'Unread' tab.
   The red dot should reflect the current unread state; if it persists check other pages.

Troubleshooting

1. Red dot is present but the 'Unread' tab is empty.
   LikelyCause: Unread items may be on another page or the UI needs a refresh.
   Action: Click 'All', check pagination bottom of page, or refresh the page to update the list.
