How do I update my Organization name?

Short Answer: On Settings > Organization, edit the *'Organization name ' field placeholder: 'Enter organization name' and click 'Save changes'.

PreRequisites

1. Signed in to your Cointab account

2. Open the Settings > Organization page

Steps

1. Open Settings and select 'Organization' in the left sidebar.
   The Organization settings page displays the *'Organization name ' field.

2. Click the 'Organization name' input shows placeholder 'Enter organization name'.
   The input is focused and ready for typing.

3. Type the new organization name.
   The new name appears in the input field.

4. Click the 'Save changes' button.
   The updated organization name is submitted.

Troubleshooting

1. 'Save changes' is not clickable or does nothing when clicked.
   LikelyCause: Required field *'Organization name ' is empty or contains only whitespace.
   Action: Enter a valid name into *'Organization name ' remove leading/trailing spaces, then click 'Save changes'.

2. Clicking 'Save changes' returns an error or nothing appears to happen.
   LikelyCause: Temporary network/server issue.
   Action: Check your internet connection, reload the page, re-enter the name if needed, and try 'Save changes' again.

Note: The 'Organization name' label shows a red asterisk (*) indicating the field is required.
