Short Answer: 'Fully matched' are records whose amounts and identifiers matched; 'Partially matched' have partial sums or missing lines; 'Unmatched' have no matches; 'Skipped' were excluded by 'Records to include' rules.
PreRequisites
- A completed reconciliation run
Steps
-
Open the reconciliation result page to view the summary cards.
Cards show totals and counts for each status. -
Click any card or its corresponding tab e.g., 'Fully matched' to view the detailed list of rows in that category.
The tab switches to show rows belonging to that status. -
Expand a row for example 'Multiple transactions (1)' to inspect why a row is fully or partially matched.
Matched transaction modal shows match basis and constituent rows. -
Use the Amount and Difference columns in the list to understand numeric discrepancies.
You can identify rows with non-zero differences for follow-up.
Troubleshooting
- Card totals don't add up as expected.
LikelyCause: Some records are Skipped or filters exclude rows, or mapping is incorrect.
Action: Open 'View format' for each dataset, check mappings and 'Records to include' filters, then re-run reconciliation.
