How do I open and interpret 'Matched transaction details'?

Last updated on Sep 02, 2026

Short Answer: Click a matched row or a 'Multiple transactions' link to open the 'Matched transaction details' modal which shows 'Match basis', the Side A and Side B rows, totals and the 'Unmatch' button.

PreRequisites

  1. A reconciliation run with matched transactions

  2. Access to the results page

Steps

  1. On the results page click a matched row, the row's 'Multiple transactions' link, or the matched amount.
    'Matched transaction details' modal opens.

  2. Review the 'Match basis' area for example 'Reference ID + Amount'.
You see how the system matched the records.

  3. Inspect Side A Your Records and Side B External records tables and compare columns such as Order Date, TDS Amount, Order ID, Order Item ID, Seller GSTIN, Invoice Date, Invoice Amount.
You can confirm which rows were matched and the amounts involved.

  4. Look at the totals at the bottom 'Side A total', 'Side B total', 'Difference'.
You see the numeric difference between sides.

Troubleshooting

  1. Match details show unexpected rows or amounts.
LikelyCause: Mapping or file data e.g., wrong sign on amounts is incorrect.
Action: Open the report's 'View format', confirm 'Amount' and 'Reference / Identifier' mappings, correct the source file if needed, then re-run reconciliation.

Note: The modal lists every matched row from both sides; use it to confirm why two entries were paired.
