How do I expand a 'Multiple transactions (N)' row to see the individual transactions?

Last updated on Sep 08, 2026

Short Answer: Click the 'Multiple transactions (N)' link or the expand arrow on a grouped table row to expand and see the individual transactions behind the group.

PreRequisites

  1. You are viewing the Fully/Partially/Unmatched table after a reconciliation run.

Steps

  1. Open the relevant tab Fully matched, Partially matched or Unmatched on the results page.
The table for the selected group is visible.

  2. Locate a row labeled 'Multiple transactions (N)' and click the text or the expand arrow to its left.
The row expands to show the underlying individual transactions and amounts.

  3. To collapse the group, click the arrow or 'Multiple transactions (N)' again.
The grouped row collapses back to the summary line.

Troubleshooting

  1. Clicking 'Multiple transactions (N)' does nothing.
LikelyCause: Browser script blocked or transient UI issue.
Action: Refresh the page or try another browser; if persistent, re-run reconciliation.

Note: Expanding grouped rows helps inspect why multiple books or statement lines were grouped into one match.
