How do I see the 'Breakdown by report' for an External total?

Short Answer: Click the small info icon next to 'External' on a summary card to open the 'Breakdown by report' popover with each report's Amount and Transactions.

PreRequisites

  1. You are viewing the report page with summary cards visible

Steps

  1. Select the category card you want to inspect for example 'Partially matched'.
    The card is selected/highlighted.

  2. Click the small 'i' icon next to the 'External' label inside the card.
    The 'Breakdown by report' popover appears.

  3. Read the popover table which shows 'Report', 'Amount' and 'Transactions' and a Total row.
    You see entries such as 'Stripe $1,111,000 1000' and 'PayPal $20,000 100'.

Troubleshooting

  1. Clicking the info icon does not open the popover.
    LikelyCause: Another overlay could be covering the icon or browser window is too small.
    Action: Close overlays, expand the browser window and click again.

Note: The popover shows how the External total breaks down by connected reports.
