How long does a reconciliation run take?

Last updated on Aug 27, 2026

Short Answer: A reconciliation run usually takes a few minutes depending on file size. The running page shows a progress bar and status like 'Matching transactions by rule 1'.

PreRequisites

  1. You started a reconciliation and you see the 'Running monthly revenue reconciliation' page

Steps

  1. Confirm a reconciliation is running by looking for the header 'Running monthly revenue reconciliation' and the progress bar.
You see the status text and a progress bar e.g., 'Matching transactions by rule 1'.

  2. Wait for the progress bar to advance until the run completes.
Progress moves and the run finishes within a few minutes for typical file sizes.

  3. When finished, verify results on the report page with summary cards and transaction lists.
Summary cards Fully matched, Partially matched, Unmatched, Skipped and transaction tables appear.

Troubleshooting

  1. Progress or status doesn't change for many minutes.
LikelyCause: Very large files, slow network, or a temporary service issue.
Action: Wait a few more minutes. If it still doesn't progress, try reloading the page or running the reconciliation again.

  2. Run stops and shows an error page.
    LikelyCause: Temporary issue during processing.
Action: Click 'Run reconciliation again' or check your uploaded files; follow the guidance on the error screen.

Note: The running screen explicitly says: 'This may take a few minutes depending on file size.'
