Steps

On the New reconciliation page click 'View format' under the report tile you want to inspect.
'Expected data format — ' modal opens. -
In the modal review 'Data preview (sample rows)' and the right panel fields: 'Sheet', 'Header row', 'Date', 'Amount', 'Reference / Identifier' and 'Records to include'.
You can see sample rows and the mapped tokens examples: 'order_release_id', 'Final_Amount', 'Payment_Date'. -
If you want the sample file, click 'Download format' at the bottom-right of the modal.
A format file sample format is downloaded to your computer. -
Close the modal with 'Close' or the 'X' when finished.
You return to the New reconciliation page.
Troubleshooting

Downloaded format doesn't match the file you intended.
LikelyCause: You opened the wrong report's 'View format' Payment vs RT vs Sales.
Action: Re-open 'View format' for the correct report and download that format. Check the modal header 'Expected data format — '. -
Sample rows don't show the right header row.
LikelyCause: 'Header row' field may be set incorrectly.
Action: Update the 'Header row' input to the correct row number e.g., '1' and confirm the preview aligns.
Note: Field tokens visible in the modals include 'order_release_id', 'shipment_id', 'Sale_Order_Code', 'Payment_Date', 'Final_Amount', 'Total_Amount'.
