How do I interpret the Total, Fully matched, Partially matched and Unmatched summary cards?

Short Answer: Each card shows per-report totals and transaction counts for that match status; 'Difference' is the monetary gap for that status. Use the cards and tabs to drill into rows. PreRequisites 1. A reconciliation has been run and results page is visible Steps 1. Open the 'Myntra Sales vs Payment Report' results page. You see four summary cards: 'Total', 'Fully matched', 'Partially matched', 'Unmatched'. 2. Read the 'Total' card for overall sums and counts per report and the 'Difference'. Totals and transaction counts are displayed for 'Myntra Sales - Return report' and 'Myntra Payment Report'. 3. Click a card or use the tabs 'Fully matched', 'Partially matched', 'Unmatched' to view the list of transactions in that status. Table of rows for the selected match status appears. 4. Click a transaction row to open 'Matched transaction details' for transaction-level comparison and exact 'Difference'. Modal shows both report rows, the 'Match basis' and the per-transaction 'Difference'. Troubleshooting 1. Fully matched shows a small non-zero 'Difference' example: 1.04. LikelyCause: Rounding differences or mismatched amount fields between reports. Action: Click into 'Fully matched', open suspicious rows' 'Matched transaction details' and inspect the amount columns; correct mapping or data and re-run if needed. Note: Percentages next to transaction counts show the share for that report e.g., '2,074 transactions (74%)'.

How do I map Date, Amount and Reference / Identifier columns for a report?

Short Answer: Open 'View format' for the report, set 'Sheet' and 'Header row', then choose the correct 'Date', 'Amount' and 'Reference / Identifier' tokens shown e.g., 'Payment_Date', 'Final_Amount', 'order_release_id'. PreRequisites 1. Open the report's 'Expected data format' modal 2. Know which columns in your file contain the date, amount and ID Steps 1. Click 'View format' for the report tile to open the 'Expected data format' modal. Modal displays sample rows and field inputs on the right. 2. Set the 'Sheet' e.g., 'Sheet1' or 'CSV' and 'Header row' e.g., '1'. Preview columns align with header row. 3. Enter/select the correct column name for 'Date'. Examples: 'Payment_Date', 'order_created_date', 'Order_Created_Date'. Dates populate correctly in preview. 4. Enter/select the 'Amount' field. Examples: 'Final_Amount', 'Final_amount', 'Total_Amount'. Amounts match preview values. 5. Select one or more columns for 'Reference / Identifier'. Examples: 'order_release_id', 'shipment_id', 'Sale_Order_Code'. Reference tokens display under 'Reference / Identifier'. 6. Click 'Download format' or 'Close' to save and return to the reconciliation setup. Mapping is used during reconciliation. Troubleshooting 1. No matches after mapping. LikelyCause: Reference column differs between the two reports or header row is wrong. Action: Confirm both reports use the same ID column as 'Reference / Identifier' and adjust 'Header row' if needed; re-run reconciliation. 2. Dates or amounts appear incorrect in preview. LikelyCause: Wrong 'Date' or 'Amount' token selected or sheet/header mismatch. Action: Set the correct 'Sheet' and 'Header row', then pick the correct tokens and re-check the preview. Note: Selecting the same 'Reference / Identifier' token across both files is critical for matching.

Why are transactions unmatched even though reference IDs look identical?

Short Answer: Common causes: wrong 'Reference / Identifier' mapping, incorrect 'Header row' or 'Sheet', differing amount fields or sign differences, or records excluded by 'Records to include' rules. PreRequisites 1. You have run reconciliation and observed Unmatched results Steps 1. Open 'View format' for each report and confirm the same 'Reference / Identifier' column is selected e.g., 'shipment_id' vs 'order_release_id'. Both reports use the same ID token for matching. 2. Verify 'Sheet' and 'Header row' so the preview rows align with your file headers. Preview displays correct columns under the mapped tokens. 3. Confirm the 'Amount' mapping is the correct column and that signs negative/positive are consistent for returns vs sales. Amounts show expected sign and values in preview. 4. Ensure 'Include all records' is ON if you expect every row to be considered. Rows are no longer excluded as 'Excluded by rule'. 5. Re-run reconciliation and inspect the 'Unmatched' tab or open a given row's 'Matched transaction details' for exact values. You can see why rows did or did not match. Troubleshooting 1. IDs look identical but transactions stay unmatched. LikelyCause: ID column chosen differs between reports, or IDs contain whitespace/case differences. Action: Select the exact same 'Reference / Identifier' token for both reports and clean the source ID values by trimming whitespace and normalizing case before uploading. 2. Amounts close but don't match exactly. LikelyCause: Rounding, tax fields or different amount columns used. Action: Use the same 'Amount' field across reports and inspect 'Matched transaction details' to find which rows cause the discrepancy. Note: Use the 'Data preview (sample rows)' in 'View format' to compare how each file presents IDs and amounts before running reconciliation.
