How do I add filters to narrow the reconciliation results?

Last updated on Sep 08, 2026

Short Answer: Click '+ Add filter' on the results page, choose criteria and apply to narrow the Fully matched, Partially matched, Unmatched, or Skipped lists.

PreRequisites

  1. You are on the reconciliation results page.

  2. A reconciliation has been run.

Steps

  1. Open the reconciliation results page and select the tab you want to filter e.g., 'Fully matched'.
The tab's list of transactions is visible.

  2. Click the '+ Add filter' button above the list.
Filter controls appear field selection and values.

  3. Choose the field(s) and value(s) you want to filter by for example Reference/Identifier or Amount and apply the filter.
The list updates to show only rows that match the selected criteria.

  4. Edit or clear filters to return to the full list.
Results refresh to match the new or cleared filter.

Troubleshooting

  1. Filter doesn't narrow results.
LikelyCause: Criteria do not match values in the columns or wrong field selected.
Action: Check column names and sample values using the Configure file 'Data preview' and retry the filter with matching values.

Note: The '+ Add filter' button is visible above the results list on the summary page.
