How do I select multiple transactions to include in a manual match?

Last updated on Sep 10, 2026

Short Answer: Check the box next to each row in Books / ledger (Books) and Vendor statement (Vendor statement). Use the header checkbox to select all visible rows in a panel.

PreRequisites

  1. Manual match transactions modal is open.

  2. Transactions are visible in the panels.

Steps

  1. Open the Manual match transactions modal if not already open.
Modal displays the two transaction panels.

  2. In the Books / ledger (Books) panel check the boxes next to the rows you want to include.
Selected rows are highlighted and their checkboxes are checked.

  3. Repeat in the Vendor statement (Vendor statement) panel so both sides have selections.
    Both panels show checked rows.

  4. Use the header checkbox at the top-left of a panel to select all visible rows in that panel.
All visible rows in that panel become selected and the footer counts update.

Troubleshooting

  1. Clicking a row checkbox does not select the row.
LikelyCause: That row is outside the current visible/paginated view or the panel is temporarily unresponsive.
Action: Scroll to make the row fully visible, remove filters that hide rows, or reopen the modal and try again.

  2. Header checkbox selects no rows.
LikelyCause: No visible rows in the panel filters may hide them.
Action: Click All open transactions and/or adjust + Add Filter to show rows, then use the header checkbox.

Note: Selected counts and amounts update in the footer as you check or uncheck rows.
