Why am I seeing 'Your Cointab access has expired'?

Last updated on Sep 23, 2026

Short Answer: Your Cointab access has expired. Existing reconciliations and results remain in read-only mode; click 'Request access' to ask the team to reactivate your access.

PreRequisites

  1. Be signed in to your account.

  2. You can see the expiry banner or expiry modal.

Steps

  1. Look for the red banner that reads 'Your Cointab access has expired. Your existing work remains available in read-only mode.'
You confirm the app shows that access has expired and your work is read-only.

  2. If a modal appears titled 'Your Cointab access has expired', read the message and note the options 'Request access' and 'Close'.
You understand you cannot build/run/download until access is reactivated.

  3. Click 'Request access' to submit a reactivation request or use the banner button.
A confirmation modal titled 'Request received' appears.

Troubleshooting

  1. I still see the expired banner after requesting access.
LikelyCause: The reactivation request is pending and access hasn’t been reactivated yet.
Action: Confirm you saw the 'Request received' modal. If you did not get confirmation, refresh and try 'Request access' again or email [email protected].

  2. I don't see the 'Request access' button.
LikelyCause: Page layout or session state is hiding the banner/modal.
Action: Refresh the page and sign in again; check for a modal overlay. If it still doesn’t appear, contact [email protected].

Note: Exact UI messages: 'Your existing reconciliations and results remain available in read-only mode.' and 'Request access to continue building, running and downloading reports.'
