What does the banner 'Editing a draft based on version 1. The current reconciliation will remain unchanged until these changes are saved as a new version.' mean?

Short Answer: It means you are working on a draft copy derived from Version 1; the live reconciliation will not change until you save these edits as a new version.

PreRequisites

  1. Open the 'Edit reconciliation' page.

Steps

  1. Read the yellow banner at the top of the 'Edit reconciliation' page.
You understand that edits are in a draft and not yet applied to the current reconciliation.

  2. Make the required edits name, period, files, mappings and look for the save/publish step in the flow after clicking 'Continue'.
You will be able to save the draft as a new version. Save control is not shown in the provided screenshots.

  3. If unsure whether changes were applied, open 'Version history' to confirm versions and their timestamps.
You can verify whether a new version was created.

Troubleshooting

  1. I expected changes to apply immediately but nothing changed.
LikelyCause: You are editing a draft and haven't saved it as a new version yet.
Action: Complete the draft flow and save/publish as a new version; if the save/publish control is not visible, check the next steps after 'Continue' or contact Support.
