How can I tell if an account's difference is explained?

Steps

1. Open the account detail for the account you want to check for example 'Bank A/c'.
   Account detail shows GL balance and Supported balance.

2. Find the box labeled 'Unexplained difference'.
   If you see the green label 'Difference fully explained', the net reconciling items equal the difference.

3. Also compare the 'Difference' and 'Reconciling items' amounts shown above the 'Unexplained difference' line.
   The numeric values make it clear whether the reconciling items cover the difference.

Troubleshooting

1. Unexplained difference area doesn't show 'Difference fully explained' even though numbers look similar.
